vivo has begun the global rollout of its flagship X300 Ultra and X300 FE smartphones, though pricing and exact market availability remain unclear.

vivo has officially begun the global rollout of its X300 Ultra and X300 FE smartphones, expanding availability beyond their initial China and Russia launches respectively. The announcement comes after vivo's promise to bring these devices to international markets, though the company has remained tight-lipped about specific pricing and regional availability details.

The X300 Ultra, vivo's flagship imaging device for 2026, was initially unveiled in China in late March and released earlier this month. The device features a massive 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED display with 1440x3168 resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. Powering the phone is Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with 12GB or 16GB of RAM and storage options ranging from 256GB to 1TB.

Battery life is a standout feature with a 6,600mAh capacity supporting 100W wired and 40W wireless charging. The camera system is particularly impressive, headlined by a 200MP main camera with a 1/1.2-inch sensor and gimbal OIS, complemented by a 200MP periscope telephoto with 3.7x optical zoom and OIS, and a 50MP ultrawide with autofocus and OIS. The front-facing camera is a 50MP autofocus unit.

For European markets, vivo's Spanish online store has revealed that the X300 Ultra will arrive on April 24, potentially indicating similar timing for other EU countries, though this hasn't been officially confirmed.

The X300 FE, meanwhile, represents a more compact option in vivo's lineup. Originally launched in Russia last month, this device is essentially a rebranded S50 Pro mini exclusive to China, with the key difference being Bluetooth 6.0 instead of Bluetooth 5.4. The phone features a 6.31-inch LTPO AMOLED display with 1216x2640 resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, boasting an impressive 5,000-nit peak brightness.

Under the hood, the X300 FE runs on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor with 12GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB of storage. The camera setup includes a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP periscope telephoto with 3x optical zoom and OIS, and an 8MP ultrawide. The front camera is a 50MP autofocus unit. A substantial 6,500mAh battery provides power, supporting 90W wired and 40W wireless charging.

Both devices run Android 16 with vivo's OriginOS skin on top, ensuring users have access to the latest Android features and vivo's custom interface enhancements.

Pricing remains a significant question mark for potential buyers. While no official global pricing has been announced, early indicators suggest premium positioning. In Poland, retailer Media Expert has listed the 16GB/1TB variant at approximately 8,499 PLN (around €2,000), with a photography bundle including the 400mm vivo ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 priced at 9,499 PLN (approximately €2,250).

The global rollout strategy appears to be rolling out gradually, with different markets likely receiving the devices at different times. This phased approach is common for manufacturers entering new markets, allowing them to manage inventory and marketing efforts more effectively.

For photography enthusiasts, the X300 Ultra's camera system represents a significant investment in mobile imaging technology. The combination of large sensors, gimbal stabilization, and high-resolution sensors across multiple lenses positions it as a serious competitor in the flagship smartphone camera segment.

The X300 FE offers a more balanced approach, providing flagship-level performance in a more compact and potentially more affordable package. Its high-brightness display and substantial battery capacity make it an attractive option for users who want premium features without the larger form factor of the X300 Ultra.

As vivo expands its global footprint, these devices represent the company's push into more competitive international markets. The success of this rollout could determine vivo's positioning in the premium smartphone segment outside of its traditional strongholds in Asia.

Consumers interested in either device should monitor local retailer announcements for specific pricing and availability information, as vivo appears to be handling the global launch on a market-by-market basis rather than through a coordinated worldwide release.
