Overview
Liquid cooling is more efficient than air cooling because water has a much higher heat capacity than air. It is popular for high-end gaming PCs and servers.
Components
- Water Block: Attached to the CPU/GPU to absorb heat.
- Pump: Circulates the liquid.
- Radiator: Where the liquid releases heat to the air.
- Reservoir: Holds extra liquid and allows air bubbles to escape.
Types
- All-in-One (AIO): A pre-assembled, closed-loop system.
- Custom Loop: Built by the user with individual components.
