Casio unveils its eleventh Hiroshima Toyo Carp collaboration: a Japan-exclusive skeleton G-Shock with team colors, hybrid display, and lottery-only availability.

Casio has unveiled its latest collaboration with Japanese baseball team Hiroshima Toyo Carp – the 2026 GA-2100X G-Shock watch. Marking the eleventh installment in this ongoing partnership, this limited edition builds upon Casio's popular "CasiOak" platform with distinctive team-inspired styling and exclusive availability. Unlike mainstream G-Shock releases, this model adopts a lottery-based sales approach restricted to Hiroshima Toyo Carp fan club members in Japan.

The watch features a light metallic blue dial accented with vibrant red elements mirroring the team's colors, including the Carp logo on the dial and red-tipped indices. Its signature octagonal bezel utilizes transparent resin, showcasing Casio's skeleton design that reveals internal components. The 48.5 x 45.4 x 11.8 mm case pairs with a bright red resin strap, maintaining G-Shock's reputation for durability with 200-meter water resistance.

Functionally, this GA-2100X variant retains the hybrid display that defines the CasiOak series: analog hands complement a small digital display with a red background showing time and date. Core features include world time support for 48 cities, automatic calendar (pre-programmed until 2099), stopwatch, countdown timer, five daily alarms, and a double LED light for illumination. The day-of-week indicator appears in Japanese, catering to its domestic audience.

Compared to standard GA-2100 models, this collaboration distinguishes itself through its color scheme, transparent bezel, and exclusive branding. Previous Carp editions typically featured solid case designs without skeleton elements, making this release notable for its visual transparency. At ¥19,500 (~$124), it carries a slight premium over base models but aligns with Casio's special edition pricing strategy.

Availability remains the most restrictive aspect. Casio confirms this is a fan-club exclusive limited to one unit per customer, distributed via lottery with no plans for general sales in Japan or international markets. This positions the watch squarely toward dedicated Hiroshima Toyo Carp supporters and niche G-Shock collectors seeking region-locked releases. Packaging includes a special collectible tin featuring team branding.
For baseball memorabilia enthusiasts and Japanese G-Shock collectors, this model represents a unique fusion of sports fandom and horological engineering. However, its lottery-based distribution and regional exclusivity make acquisition challenging for international buyers. The Hiroshima Toyo Carp store lists full specifications (Japanese) for registered members.
