Honor is reportedly developing a new flagship smartphone with an unusually large 8,000mAh battery, according to a leak from tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo. The device is said to feature a 6.36-inch display and is positioned as part of Honor's Magic series, though its exact name remains unknown.

The leak comes as Honor continues to push the boundaries of battery technology, following the release of the Honor Win with its 10,000mAh silicon-carbon battery.
