Oppo launches the A6s Pro in Bangladesh with a 50MP front camera, massive 7,000mAh battery, and 80W fast charging, offering a modest upgrade over the A6 Pro.
Oppo has launched the A6s Pro in Bangladesh, a modest upgrade to its existing A6 Pro lineup that brings a notable improvement to the front-facing camera system. The phone officially went on pre-order on February 24 and will be available until March 3, with the 8GB/256GB model priced at BDT 39,990.

The most significant upgrade in the A6s Pro is the 50MP selfie camera with an ultra-wide lens for group selfies. This represents a meaningful improvement over the standard A6 Pro's front-facing camera, making it particularly appealing for social media enthusiasts and content creators who frequently take group photos or vlogs.
Under the hood, the A6s Pro maintains the same Helio G100 Max chipset found in its predecessor. The processor is paired with a vapor chamber cooling system to prevent thermal throttling during extended gaming sessions or heavy usage. This mid-range chipset provides adequate performance for everyday tasks and casual gaming, though it's not designed for intensive 3D gaming or demanding applications.
One of the standout features of the A6s Pro is its massive 7,000mAh battery, which is becoming increasingly rare in modern smartphones as manufacturers prioritize thinner designs. This substantial battery capacity should easily provide two days of use for most users, and with 80W SuperVOOC charging, you can quickly top up when needed. The combination of a large battery and fast charging addresses one of the most common pain points for smartphone users.
On the rear, the phone features a 50MP main camera paired with a 2MP auxiliary sensor. While the 2MP sensor is likely used for depth information or macro shots, the 50MP primary camera should deliver decent daylight photography and acceptable low-light performance for a mid-range device.

The display is a 6.57-inch OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and impressive 1,400 nits peak brightness. This high refresh rate ensures smooth scrolling and animations, while the OLED technology provides vibrant colors and deep blacks. The inclusion of an in-display fingerprint reader and stereo speakers rounds out the multimedia experience.
Durability is another area where the A6s Pro stands out, with an IP69K rating that provides resistance against both submersion and high-pressure water jets. This level of protection is typically found in rugged smartphones and suggests Oppo is targeting users who need extra durability in their devices.
The phone measures 8mm thick and weighs 190g, which is relatively slim and light considering the large battery capacity. It's available in a new Lumina Frost colorway that adds a premium aesthetic to the device.
For pre-order customers, Oppo is offering several incentives including a 1-year extended warranty (worth BDT 799), a 90-day free replacement policy, and an Oppo backpack. These extras add value to the purchase and demonstrate Oppo's confidence in the device's quality.
The A6s Pro's launch strategy is interesting, as Oppo appears to be taking a regional approach with this device, initially launching only in Bangladesh. This targeted release suggests the company is testing the market response before potentially expanding to other regions.
Compared to the original A6 Pro 4G that launched in Vietnam in September 2025, the A6s Pro represents a minor but meaningful upgrade, particularly for users who prioritize selfie photography and battery life. The 5G variant of the A6 Pro also exists, though it's unclear if the A6s Pro will receive a 5G version.
This launch continues Oppo's strategy of frequent updates to its A-series lineup, with the company seemingly unable to go more than a few months without introducing a new variant or upgrade. While some might view this as market saturation, it allows Oppo to cater to specific user preferences and regional demands more effectively than a one-size-fits-all approach.
